Men's Hockey To Host Holy Cross Hockey Clinic

Holy Cross Athletics   04-24-2018

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s ice hockey staff has announced their summer hockey clinic. The clinic will be at the Hart Center Rink at the Luth Athletic Complex on August 13-16.

As the premier Division I hockey program in central Massachusetts, the Holy Cross Hockey Clinic is a unique opportunity for youth hockey players to get on the ice before their seasons begin. It is also an opportunity to train with Division I college hockey coaches.

The clinic will be led by head coach David Berard, associate head coach Brock Sheahan, assistant coach Peter Roundy, and goaltending coach Matt Grogan. They will lead on-ice sessions with the assistance of members of the Holy Cross hockey team.

Mites through bantams will have five hours of ice time over four days, with an emphasis on power skating, skill development, and small games. The mites and squirts ice time is 5:00 – 6:15 p.m. and the peewees and bantams will have ice from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m.

To register for the Holy Cross Hockey Clinic, contact Peter Roundy at proundy@holycross.edu.
