Women's Soccer Hosts Spring Alumni Mingle
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women’s soccer team hosted an Alumni Mingle over the weekend, as it welcomed a group of former Crusaders back to campus. On Sunday, April 22, the team welcomed alumnae and their families to the Luth Athletic Complex to take part in a number of activities.
“Our spring Alumni Mingle was a great success,” said head coach Casey Brown. “Having our alumnae back on the hill sharing their experiences and memories with current players is a very special connection to consistently bridge. Our program is a family, so being able to honor the past seasons and players by inviting them back on campus is something we value greatly.”
The group took part in activities with current members of the team; including a tour of the Luth Athletic Complex, alumni game, alumni kids’ game and a mingle with current student-athletes of the program. Alumnae who attended the event included Mary Dennehy Carney ’05, Danielle Carvalho ’05, Mary Kate Feit ’05, Marie Kieras-Skiba ’05, Erin Patterson Janicek ’02, Jessica Pietrowicz ’08, Emily Rivinius ’02, Lee Schulz ’03 and Cara Shea ’05.
“The support we have seen from our alumnae and families has been tremendous. Being able to show them first-hand the new additions like the development of the Luth Athletic Complex, and what it means for our department and program, is huge.“
