James Murray Signs With Kansas City Chiefs
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Former Holy Cross offensive lineman James Murray has signed a free agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. Murray will take part in the Chiefs’ rookie mini-camp in May.
Murray earned second team All-Patriot League honors during both the 2016 and 2017 seasons. He played in all 11 of Holy Cross’ games in 2017, starting every time at left tackle. Murray was the leader of an offensive line which paved the way for the Crusaders to average 397.5 total yards, 143.4 rushing yards and 23.1 point per game on the season. Over the course of his collegiate career, he played in 44 career games with 40 starts.
