O'Halloran Selected to Represent Holy Cross at NCAA Sports Forum

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Women's track & field senior Kelly O'Halloran has been selected to attend the NCAA Sports Forum May 31-June 3 at the NCAA national office in Indianapolis, Ind. O'Halloran will join over 200 other student-athletes at the forum with the intention to learn more about working in sports, specifically college athletics. 

The four-day forum was created to aid student-athletes who wish to pursue a career in sports. The student-athletes who are selected will get to network and meet with professionals who are presently working in collegiate sports. 

"I'm looking forward to meeting professionals in the athletic industry and learning about the different areas of this multifaceted business," said O'Halloran. "I'm also excited to get to know other student-athletes across the country who have similar ambitions, yet also who come from diverse backgrounds with unique perspectives and experiences."

Student-athletes who are chosen to represent their schools and conferences will be able to listen to numerous speakers cover important topics related to the sports industry. Ideas surronding the transistion from being an athlete to becoming a professional and how coaches and administration impact student-athletes' experiences will be discussed. 

O'Halloran will travel to Indianapolis on May 30 to participate in the forum and hopes to pursue a career in content marketing in the sports and entertainment industry
