Women's Track and Field Earns 32 Spots On Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women’s track and field team had 32 student-athletes named to the 2018 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Tuesday. Senior Meghan Dietter, senior Tori Zamarra and junior Katherine Guilbo each led the Crusaders with a 4.00 GPA during the spring semester.
The senior class was well-represented in the honor roll, leading the way with 16 selections. The seniors that were honored included Dietter, Zamarra, Erin Ahearn, Jamison Briggs, Katie Heenan, Alanna Hitscherich, Hannah Jeter, Haley Leishman, Elizabeth Lombardo, Zoe Matherne, Stefanie McArdle, Kelly O'Halloran, Kate Spitler, Jessica Stietzel, Annie Sullivan and Claire Turner. Five Juniors were named to the honor roll, including Guilbo, Alexandra Curtin, Isabella DiMare, Sarah Friess and Kerri Keohane.
Nine members of the sophomore class earned a spot on the honor roll, including Allie Christian, Caroline Frey, Jenna Gasparrini, Allison McArdle, Christina Nee, Deana Pileika, Jillian Purtell, Morgan Sanders and Allie Smiley. Two members of the freshman class, Grace Goodwin and Elizabeth Graves, were also selected for the honor roll.
A total of 300 student-athletes from women's track and field teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the spring semester.
