Holy Cross Athletics   10-03-2018

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross men’s soccer assistant coach Ben Graham has been promoted to associate head coach, as announced by head coach Marco Koolman and director of athletics Nathan Pine.

“Ben has a proven record in the past. His leadership qualities and character are second to none," said head coach Marco Koolman. "That, coupled with his knowledge of the game and player management, make him an extremely valuable asset. I am excited to have a quality coach in Ben next to me.”

Graham is entering his third year at Holy Cross, where he has served as an assistant coach in the previous two seasons. He works primarily with the goalkeepers and serves as the program’s recruiting coordinator. Graham also plays a large role in gameday management.

Prior to joining the Holy Cross staff, Graham worked as an assistant coach at Stanford where he helped the team to the 2015 national championship.

At Holy Cross, Graham helped the team to a Patriot League championship game appearance in 2017 as the fifth-seed. The Crusaders’ championship game appearance was the first since the 2013 season.

Graham also has experience working at Northeastern (2012-14), where he helped the team to it’s first-ever CAA title and an NCAA Tournament second round appearance.
