Kelsey Christensen Named Assistant Softball Coach
"I am incredibly excited to have Kelsey joining our staff and returning to The Hill,” said Lapicki. “As an alumnae of Holy Cross, Kelsey not only has a passion for Holy Cross and our athletes, but a true understanding and belief in our mission. Additionally, the knowledge and experience that Kelsey brings with her from her time at Michigan State University is going to be of great value to our staff and program. I, along with or athletes, are excited to welcome Kelsey back home!"
Christensen comes to Holy Cross after spending the 2017 and 2018 seasons as the volunteer assistant coach at Michigan State University. She helped the Spartans to a 26-26 overall record and a trip to the Big Ten Semifinals in 2018. At Michigan State, Christensen worked with the pitchers and served as a first base coach. While at Michigan State, Christensen also completed her master’s degree in sport coaching and leadership- kinesiology.
As an undergraduate, Christensen played for Holy Cross and was a four-time selection to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Christensen earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and philosophy and is a 2016 graduate of Holy Cross.
