The Holy Cross Baseball Diamond Club was established in 2012 to increase the level of support and heighten awareness of the Crusader Baseball program. The Diamond Club's mission is to strengthen the involvement of the baseball alumni community, conduct organized event planning for alumni and friends and steward the development of a career mentorship program for current student-athletes. The mentorship program will provide current Holy Cross Baseball student-athletes (Mentee) with an opportunity to develop an impactful relationship with Holy Cross baseball alum (Mentor) whom shares a common career interest. The program will provide an amazing opportunity for current players and will better prepare players for life after Holy Cross. This organization will be comprised of alumni, parents and friends of Holy Cross baseball and will help promote the culture of Crusader Athletics by developing relationships between these groups as well as student-athletes and coaches. The Diamond Club Leadership Board is led by Chairman Bill Cupelo (‘09) and Co-Chairmen Tony Froio (‘86), Brendan Akashian ('08), Rick DeAngelis (‘70), Jordan Enos ('13), Ryan Filipowicz ('15), Jim McCloud (‘06) and John Sills (‘10).
Membership dues are $25 annually and are used to support alumni functions such as regional gatherings for home and away series, the alumni baseball game, golf tournaments and other events in support of Holy Cross Baseball throughout the year. Please email Bill Cupelo (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in becoming a member and or mentor.
