Meet Iggy The Crusader
WORCESTER, Mass. - Crusader March Madness has concluded and the fans have spoken. The official name of the Holy Cross mascot is Iggy the Crusader!
Over the last three weeks, Holy Cross fans weighed in on the 16 potential names for the Crusader, with names moving on through head-to-head matchups. In the final round, Iggy defeated James to become the official name.
Congratulations to Carl Schmitt, who won a $100 gift certificate to Chuck's Steakhouse in Auburn, just for voting in Crusader March Madness.
Thanks to all the fans who took part in the voting, and make sure to say hello to Iggy the next time you see him around campus.
