Women's Basketball Places Four On Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. – Four members of the Holy Cross women's basketball team were selected to the 2017 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Tuesday. Junior Katie Doherty led the Crusaders with a 3.85 GPA during the 2017 spring semester. This is the third-straight year Doherty has been named to the Academic Honor Roll.

The other Crusaders to make the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll were senior Madelyn Ganser, junior Infiniti Thomas-Waheed and freshman Madison Springfield. Ganser made her third-straight appearance on the Academic Honor Roll, while Thomas-Waheed and Springfield earned the honor for the first time in their careers.

A total of 84 student-athletes from women's basketball teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the spring semester.
