Men's Tennis Places Four On Academic Honor Roll
WORCESTER, Mass. – Four members of the Holy Cross men’s tennis team were selected to the 2017 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Thursday. Sophomore Michael Varda led the Crusaders with a 3.58 GPA during the spring semester. This marks his second-straight appearance on the Academic Honor Roll.
Joining Varda on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll were senior Pat O'Shea, junior Johnny McAuliffe and sophomore Henry Harrs. This is the third-straight year that O’Shea and McAuliffe have made the Academic Honor Roll, and the second-straight year Harrs has earned the honor.
A total of 62 student-athletes from men's tennis teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the spring semester.
