WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women’s soccer team fell to Dartmouth by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday night in Worcester. Gia Parker got the scoring started for Dartmouth in the ninth minute of play with a low shot off a feed pass from midfield. The Crusaders answered quickly in the 12th minute, as sophomore Carly Flahive scored with a deflected shot in close to tie the game up at 1-1. With less than four minutes until halftime, the Big Green regained the lead with a goal from Alyssa Neuberger.

Both teams put together scoring chances early in the second half, but Dartmouth would find the back of the net first in the 42nd minute of play with another goal from Parker to make it 3-1. Senior Allie Neumann brought the Crusaders within one in the 85th minute with a long shot from outside the box. Despite a strong offensive push in the final minutes, Holy Cross was unable to find a tying goal.
