HOW IT HAPPENED
-0 HC (1st, 1:18, EV): Johnny Coughlin set up a two-on-one for T.J. Moore and Kevin Darrar. Moore faked the Mercyhurst defensemen and then looked off the pass, but moved the puck across the crease to feed Darrar on the back door for a tap in.
-0 HC (1st, 15:06, EV): As the puck popped out to the neutral zone from the Crusaders’ offensive zone, both teams were in the midst of a line change. Dalton Skelly quickly moved the puck up the boards to Peter Crinella who entered the zone nearly uncontested. Crinella turned on a shot at the top of the faceoff circle and wristed a puck under the cross bar and down.
-1 MU (1st, 17:08, PP): Meryhurst’s Les Lancaster picked up the puck at the center point and waited for a clear lane to the goal. Lancaster then quickly fired a shot to the top right corner of the net.

-2 MU (2nd, 16:06, PP): After a scrum on the left side of the net, Paul Berrafato made multiple saves but the puck was left loose and an open Riley picked up the rebound and roofed the puck for a Lakers lead.
-3 HC (3rd, 3:57, EV): Tommy Muratore worked the puck across the offensive blue line to Will Brophy on the near point. Brophy opened a lane for himself as he passed down the half wall to Danny Lopez, who moved it back to Brophy. The sophomore defenseman wristed a shot through traffic that snuck in by the near post for his first career tally.
-3 MU (3rd, 7:56, EV): On a two-on-one, Wes Baker shot to the short side to beat Berrafato.
-3 MU (3rd, 10:57, PP): Josh Lammon connected on a one-timer in the slot that went to the top corner of the goal.
-3 MU (3rd, 13:30, PP): As the Crusaders were killing a four-on-three and the penalty expired, Bryan Sienerth found a puck at the back door to score a fourth power play tally for the Lakers.
