Men’s Cross Country Places 13 To Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s cross country team earned 13 spots on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Friday. Navy led the way with 23 student-athletes making the list.

Leading the way for the Crusaders was junior Thomas Kalantzakos, who recorded a grade-point average of 3.79, being named to the fall Academic Honor Roll for the first time. Three Crusaders made the list for their fourth-straight year, including seniors Michael Andre, John Bentivegna and Henry Dodge.

Making their third appearances on the list were seniors G.Matthew Greco and Max McKee. Earning the honor for the second time were juniors Bill Christ, John Albinson and Alec Hilton.

Receiving the honor for the first time was junior Bryan Gallagher, as well as sophomores Connor Hennessey, Joseph Prunty, Matthew Silas and freshman Alex Campagna.

A total of 119 student-athletes from men’s cross country teams around the league were named to the Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average or higher during the fall semester.
