Sullivan Breaks 400 IM Record, Holy Cross Places Fourth Overall

The Lead: The Crusaders placed fourth at the New England Catholic Invitational this weekend posting 412.50 points. Freshman Emily Sullivan broke the meet record and a Holy Cross team record in the 400 IM with a finals time of 4:36.06 and finishing first in the event.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Freshman Isabella Miko-Rydzaj finished second in the 200 IM with a finals time of 2:12.02, which broke the NECI meet record. Erika Freeman of Boston College finished first with a time of 2:11.80, so she now holds the NECI meet record.
- Sophomore Kayleigh Hoagland finished second in the 50 free with a finals time of 24.80.
- Holy Cross finished fourth overall in the 400 Medley Relay with a finals time of 4:04.30. The relay team members included Hoagland, Miko-Rydzaj, freshman Brianna Larnard and senior Katie Conners.
The Crusaders will host Siena Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hart Center.
