Jeter Finishes at the Top for Holy Cross

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Holy Cross women's cross country team finished 30th out of 43 teams at the Paul Short Invitational on Friday, Sept. 29 at Lehigh. 

Utah State finished first (72 points), Villanova placed second (115 points) and Georgia came in third (121 points). Seven Crusaders ran the 6k and the team finished 30th overall. 

Senior Hannah Jeter finished first for the Crusaders in 93rd place with an overall time of 21:10. Senior Zoe Matherne crossed the finish line with the second fastest time for the Crusaders at 21:40. Freshman Elizabeth Graves was not far behind with a time of 21:48. 

UP NEXT

The Crusaders will race in the New England Championship in Boston, Mass., Saturday, Oct. 7.
