Women's Rowing Places Sixteen On PL Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. – Sixteen members of the Holy Cross women's rowing team were selected to the 2017 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league. Earning a spot for the fourth year in a row are seniors Bridgid Carey and Maddy Supple. Sophomore Tyler Sparling led the way for the Crusaders after posting a 3.94 GPA during the 2017 spring semester.

The other Crusaders to make the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll were seniors Ming Comey, Amanda Gibson and Caroline Laurendeau; juniors Emma Brickfield, Kaitlyn Conte and Caroline Quinn; sophomores Lizzie Douglass, Amanda McClure and Caroline O'Connor; and freshmen Kate Beckerman, Kate Hegermiller, Mikayla Manyin and Maegan Moriarty.

A total of 231 student-athletes from women's rowing teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the spring semester.
