Women's Rowing Competes at Eastern Sprints
WORCESTER, Mass. – The women’s rowing team competed in the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond on April 29. Holy Cross raced a varsity eight boat, a second varsity eight boat, and a varsity four boat in the event.
- The second varsity eight raced to a fifth place finish with a time of 7:46.849 in the first heat. The Crusaders went on to finish seventh in the Petite Final with a time of 7:47.965.
- The varsity four boat finished fourth against Harvard-Radcliffe, Drexel, Columbia, and Boston University with a time of 8:02.892 in its opening heat. In the Petite Final, the varsity four boat raced to a fifth place finish and an 8:12.246 time.
- The varsity eight boat raced Dartmouth, Columbia, Drexel, and MIT in the opening heat and finished with a time of 7:11.814. In the Petite Final, Holy Cross raced to a 7:03.722 time.
The Crusaders are back in action for the Patriot League Championship on Friday, May 11 in Pennsauken, N.J.
