The Holy Cross men's soccer team will face the Delaware Blue Hens Sunday, Sept. 3 at 1:00 p.m. for the first home game of the season. Here is what you need to know as the Crusaders look to claim their second win of the season.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

  • The Holy Cross men's soccer team defeated Hartford 2-1 in the season opener Aug. 25.

  • Junior defender Owen Azrak scored his second career goal against Hartford. Senior forward Arno Rupp, who netted his 10th career goal against Hartford, helped lead the team to win their first game of the season, 2-1.

  • The Crusaders have won or tied every home opener since 2013.

  • Sunday afternoon will be the first time the Crusaders have faced the Blue Hens.

  • Head Coach Marco Koolman is in his sixth season at the helm of the Crusaders.
