Women's Lacrosse Places 16 On Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team placed 16 student-athletes on the 2015 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. Sophomore Maddy Smith (Menands, N.Y.) led the team with a 3.93 grade-point average for the spring semester.
The other members of the team to be named to the Academic Honor Roll were senior captains Lissie Russert (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Laura Ryan (Stirling, N.J.); juniors Katie Boyle (Devon, Pa.), Jersey Burns (Salem, N.H.), Kaitlin Concilio (Ridgewood, N.J.), Allison Hoffman (Hingham, Mass.), Lindsay O'Callaghan (Rye, N.Y.) and Margie Smith (Mountain Lakes, N.J.); sophomores Meighan Grady (Darien, Conn.), Tess MacKay (Simsbury, Conn.) and Mary Patalita (Alexandria, Va.); and freshmen Vanessa Amendola (Manorville, N.Y.), Caroline McKenna (Longmeadow, Mass.), Kerianne Moran (Manhasset, N.Y.) and Maddie Warwick (Hingham, Mass.).
A total of 152 student-athletes from women's lacrosse teams around the league were named to the Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a winter or spring sport student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester.
