The Holy Cross women’s lacrosse team will conclude the 2016 season on Saturday, April 30, when it hosts Patriot League opponent Colgate on Senior Day. Here is what you need to know as the Crusaders prepare to meet the Raiders.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Holy Cross will host Colgate on Saturday, April 30 at 1:05 p.m., in the season finale for the Crusaders.
  • Before the game, the Crusaders will honor their six seniors for their hard work and dedication to the program over the last four years.
  • The Raiders are 7-8 overall and 5-3 in the Patriot League.
  • Six out of the last eight games between these teams have been decided by just one goal. The Crusaders are 4-2 in those six games.

SENIOR DAY ON APRIL 30:

CONCILIO LEADS THE TEAM IN POINTS:

  • Senior Kaitlin Concilio (Ridgewood, N.J.) leads the team this season with 19 assists and 35 points. Her 19 assists are tied for ninth all-time in program history.
  • Concilio has 59 goals and 67 assists for 126 career points. She is the 21st Crusader in the history of the program to reach 100 career points.
  • Concilio’s 67 assists are third all-time in the history of the program.

MACKAY LEADS THE TEAM IN GOALS:

  • Junior Tess MacKay (Simsbury, Conn.) leads the team with 20 goals, while her 21 points are third.
  • MacKay posted a career-best five goals and six points as the Crusaders defeated American, 14-13, on April 23. To read the recap go here.
  • For her career, MacKay has 47 goals and nine assists for 56 points.

DROLLINGER ON ALL-TIME LIST FOR CAUSED TURNOVERS:

  • Senior captain and defender Casey Drollinger has 57 career caused turnovers which are seventh all-time in program history. This season she is tied for first on the team with a career-best 19 caused turnovers.
  • On April 15 versus Lafayette, Drollinger scored her first collegiate goal.

JOHNSON LEADS TEAM IN GROUND BALLS AND DRAW CONTROLS:

  • Junior defender Anna Johnson (Summit, N.J.) leads the team with a career-best 35 ground balls and 24 draw controls, while she is third with 14 caused turnovers.
  • For her career, she has 72 ground balls, 28 draw controls and 36 caused turnovers.
