World Championship Bound

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross Class of 2017 graduate Vince LaMonte has qualified to represent the United States National Team at the 2017 Under 23 World Championship as a member of the lightweight four. The World Championship is to be held on July 19-23 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

LaMonte qualified as a member of the Princeton National Rowing Association with a time of 6:01.08 at the time trials on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.

LaMonte was a four-year member of the Holy Cross varsity eight. He competed with the varsity four that placed fourth at the 2016 IRA National Championship. He was also a member of the varsity eight that placed 17th at the 2015 IRA National Championship.
