Menís Cross Country Announces Team Captains

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men’s cross country program has announced that seniors Henry Dodge (Rumford, R.I.) and G.Matthew Greco (Lower Providence, Pa.) will serve as its captains for the 2016 season.

Over a three-year span, Dodge has competed in 19 meets, including three Patriot League Championships, two NCAA Northeast Regionals , two New England Championships and two IC4A Championships. He recorded his career-best 8K time (26:27.30) at the Patriot League Championship in 2014. Dodge has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for three straight seasons.

Greco ran in 22 meets in three seasons, competing in three Patriot League Championships, three NCAA Northeast Regionals, three New England Championships and two IC4A Championships. In 2014, he recorded his career-best 8K time (26:07.40) at the Patriot League Championship.

Greco  earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors in 2013 and has made the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll twice. He also serves as the president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and represented the Patriot League at the annual NCAA Leadership Forum in Phoenix, Ariz. this past year.
