Menís Cross Country Preseason Poll Announced
WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men’s cross country team tied to finish sixth-place in the Patriot League preseason poll, as voted on by the league’s head coaches and media relations directors. The Crusaders received 60 points in the voting process.
Taking first place with 162 points was Navy (18 first-place votes), followed by Army West Point (135 points) in second and Boston University (129 points) in third. Rounding out the top five was Lehigh in fourth place with 114 points and Bucknell in fifth-place with 89 points.
Wrapping up the poll, American and Holy Cross tied for sixth-place with 60 points each, as Lafayette finished eighth with 49 points, Colgate finished ninth with 37 points and Loyola (Md.) was 10th with 22 points.
