Men's Cross Country Takes 19th at New England Championships
BOSTON, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's cross country team finished 19th in the New England Championships on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Franklin Park.
Seven Crusaders competed in the 8k race in men's varsity divison. Buffalo finished first overall (59 points), George Washington came in second (77 points) and Siena finished third (79 points).
Sophomore Bobby Tuzzio finished the race first for the Crusaders and in 78th place overall with a time of 26:50. Sophomore Alex Campagna had the second fastest time for the Crusaders at 26:53. Junior Joseph Prunty followed with a time of 27:09.
The Crusaders will race in Leopard Invitational in Easton, Pa. on Saturday, Oct. 14.
