Holy Cross Football Update With Coach Gilmore
The start of preseason camp will be here before you know it, and the Holy Cross football team is focused on its preparations for the 2017 campaign. A number of returning student-athletes are on campus taking summer session courses in order to get ahead on their academic pursuits. They are also working hard in the weight room, striving to be in top physical shape for the upcoming season.
The new sports performance center at the Luth Athletic Complex is scheduled to open in July, providing a new state-of-the-art space for the Crusaders to get in their work outs. Several members of the team will also be in attendance at July's Friends of Crusader Football Golf Outing, to meet and greet the program's alumni and friends.

The Crusaders will look to contend for the Patriot League championship in 2017 with the return of 12 starters. Holy Cross is set to play five games at Fitton Field this fall, beginning with the home opener against New Hampshire on Sept. 16. Other key home dates will come against Lafayette (Sept. 30), Monmouth (Oct. 7), Colgate (Oct. 21) and Georgetown (Oct. 28).

The 2017 Friends of Crusader Football Golf Outing and Dinner will take place on Monday, July 24, at Hopkinton Country Club in Hopkinton, Mass. All Crusader alumni, parents and friends of the program are invited to attend this event along with head coach Tom Gilmore, his staff, members of the current team and director of athletics Nathan Pine.
