Patriot League Women’s Swimming And Diving Preseason Poll Announced
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women’s swimming and diving team was selected to finish 10th in the 2016-2017 Patriot League women’s swimming and diving preseason poll, as voted by the league’s head coaches and media relations directors. Holy Cross received 22 points in the voting process.
Navy led the poll with 162 points and 18 first-place votes. Army West Point followed in second place with 135 points, and Bucknell was just behind the Black Knights with 128 points and one first-place vote. Boston University trailed Bucknell in fourth place with 124 points (one first-place vote), followed by Lehigh (fifth; 99 points) and Colgate (sixth; 83 points). Finishing the poll in corresponding order was Loyola Maryland (68 points), American (44 points), Lafayette (38 points) and Holy Cross (22 points).

After hosting the Holy Cross Pentathlon against Assumption, the Crusaders continue their season at home on Friday, Oct. 7 versus Iona at the Hart Center at 4:00 p.m.
