Patriot League Women's Track And Field Indoor Preseason Poll Announced
WORCESTER, Mass. – For the 2016-2017 season, the Holy Cross women’s track and field team were selected to finish sixth in the Patriot League indoor preseason poll, as voted by head coaches and media relations directors from around the league. The Crusaders received 91 points in the voting process.
Tied at the top of the poll with 154 points and 10 first-place votes each was Boston University and Bucknell. Lehigh captured the third-place spot with 128 points, as Army West Point (106 points) and Holy Cross (91 points) rounded off the top five. Navy finished sixth, just behind the Crusaders with 90 points, as Lafayette took seventh with 68 points. The bottom of the poll included American (45 points), Loyola Maryland (37 points) and Colgate (26 points), respectively.

The Crusaders return to action after break on Jan. 14, when Holy Cross competes at the Tiger Invitational in Boston.
