Holy Cross Athletics   03-28-2017

WORCESTER, Mass. -  The Holy Cross softball game at Harvard was halted in the bottom of the third inning and will be resumed at a later date with the contest picking up right where it left off.

Holy Cross was up 5-2 in the bottom of the third inning, as the Crimson had the bases loaded with two outs when the game was halted due to inclement weather. Starting back up in this exact scenario, a date to play out the remainder of the game is yet to be determined and will be announced at a later time.

The Crusaders will open Patriot League play at the weekend with a three-game series at Army West Point from April 1-2. Holy Cross will take on the Black Knights in a doubleheader starting at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday before concluding the weekend action on Sunday with their third game against Army West Point at 12:00 p.m.
