Softball Places 11 On Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. – Eleven members of the Holy Cross softball team have been selected to the 2017 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference office. Leading the Crusaders was senior Emily Krisanda, who was named to the Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time during her collegiate career.

Three Crusaders are making their third career appearance on the Academic Honor Roll, in junior Mandy McCarthy, junior Taylor Moss and junior Gabby Muniz. The six Holy Cross student-athletes named to the team for the second time in their careers include senior Kylee Malouf, junior Savannah Young, sophomore Jaclyn Brewster, sophomore Alexandra Held, sophomore Olivia Sloane and sophomore Taylor Wahler. In addition, freshman Carley Boothe was selected to the Academic Honor Roll for the first time.

A total of 81 student-athletes from softball teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the spring semester.
