Durham Named Second Team All-Patriot League
WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross senior pitcher Gennifer Durham (Abbeville, S.C.) has been named second team All-Patriot League, as announced by the league on Tuesday. This is the first time in Durham’s career that she has been named all-conference.
Durham had an outstanding season in the circle for the Crusaders. With 162.2 innings pitched on the season, she led the Crusaders with an ERA of 2.93 and tossed a team-best 93 strikeouts through 26 appearances and 24 starts. She notched seven wins, including four in conference play, and pitched 17 complete games on the year. Durham finished the season with a win over Lehigh this past Sunday, and pitched nine scoreless innings against the Patriot League regular season Champions in a 1-0 loss on Saturday.
Durham’s efforts this season have earned her multiple spots in the record books. Her 78 career starts rank third all-time in program history, while her 43 complete games now rank fourth all-time.
