Holy Cross Announces Softball Coaching Change
WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross director of athletics Nathan Pine announced today that Brian Claypool has resigned from his position as the College’s head softball coach.
“I would like to thank Coach Claypool for his efforts with our softball program and we wish him well in his future endeavors,” said Pine. “Holy Cross will commence a national search for our next head softball coach right away.”
Claypool served as the Crusaders’ head coach for nine seasons, from 2008-2016. During that time the team posted an overall record of 108-273 (.283 winning percentage), including a 60-114 mark in Patriot League play.
