Softball Places 15 On PL Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. – Fifteen members of the Holy Cross softball team were selected to the 2016 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Monday, June 27. Holy Cross had the second-most student-athletes named to the honor roll, while Lafayette led the Patriot League with 16 selections.

Seniors Kelsey Christensen and Hailey Mullen both were selected to the Academic Honor Roll during all four years of their Holy Cross tenures, as junior Emily Krisanda followed with her third straight appearance on the list.

Seniors Emily Jarvis and Sarah Kane, along with sophomores Mandy McCarthy, Taylor Moss and Gabby Muniz each earned their second career spot on the Academic Honor Roll.

Senior Gennifer Durham, junior Kylee Malouf, and sophomore Savannah Young each made their first appearance on the list. Joining them were freshmen Jaclyn Brewster, Alexandra Held, Olivia Sloane and Taylor Wahler.

Brewster led the Crusaders with a 3.92 GPA during the 2016 Spring semester.

A total of 81 student-athletes from softball teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the spring semester.
