Men’s Tennis Announces 2017 Spring Schedule
WORCESTER, Mass. – Head men’s tennis coach Brad Walulak and director of athletics Nathan Pine have announced the team’s 2017 spring schedule. The Crusaders are set to compete in 11 matches during the regular season.
Holy Cross begins its spring slate with Sacred Heart on Feb. 25 in New Haven, Conn. before hosting its first home match of the season against Roger Williams on March 22. The Crusaders will then begin Patriot League play with four matches in West Point, N.Y. They will take on Army West Point on March 24 before facing Lafayette and Loyola (Md.) on March 25, and will conclude the weekend with Bucknell on March 26.
The Crusaders will then host three straight home matches, beginning with Boston University on April 1. Holy Cross will compete in its last Patriot League match at home against Colgate on April 8 before hosting Bentley on April 9.
On April 12, Holy Cross will travel to Wenham, Mass. to take on Gordon before heading to the Patriot League Tournament. Navy will host this year’s tournament in Annapolis, Md., beginning with the first round on April 20 and concluding with the championship on April 23. Holy Cross is then set to conclude its season against UMass Dartmouth in Worcester on April 24.
