  • The Lead: The Holy Cross men’s tennis team fell to Siena on Saturday afternoon by a score of 7-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Saints defeated Holy Cross in each of the three doubles matched to claim a point.
  • After losing the first set 6-3 at No. 2 singles, junior Peter Campito responded to take the second set 6-2, but ultimately fell in the final set 10-2.
  • Sophomore Matthew Murphy claimed the first set at No. 3 singles 7-6, winning with an 8-6 tiebreaker, but fell 6-2 in the second set before coming up short in the final set 10-7.
