The Holy Cross men’s basketball team plays the second of three straight road games this weekend, when it travels to New Hampshire for a 7:00 p.m. contest on Saturday, Dec. 3. The game can be seen online through America East TV. In addition, the contest will air live on WEEI 1440 AM in Worcester.

Holy Cross currently stands 3-4 so far this season, and has won three of its last four games. The Crusaders are coming off a 55-49 victory at Albany on Wednesday night, and previously defeated Harvard (63-52) and South Carolina State (73-57). Holy Cross leads the Patriot League in both assist-to-turnover ratio (1.36-to-1) and turnover margin (+3.1 turnovers per game).

Senior guard Robert Champion leads the team by averaging 13.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. Senior forward Malachi Alexander has also been playing well, averaging 12.4 points, 5.4 boards and 1.1 steals per contest while hitting 42.9 percent of his three-point attempts. In addition, sophomore forward Karl Charles has added 8.7 points, 4.0 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game.

New Hampshire enters the game with an overall record of 4-3 so far this season. The Wildcats are coming off a 76-62 loss at Providence on Wednesday night, but won their previous two games against Winthrop (65-60) and Detroit (86-70).

Senior guard Jaleen Smith leads the team by averaging 16.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game, while hitting 50.0 percent of his field goal attempts. Junior forward Tanner Leissner has added 15.9 points and 10.3 boards per contest, while senior guard Daniel Dion is chipping in with 11.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.

Following the contest at New Hampshire, Holy Cross will travel to Maine for a 5:30 p.m. game on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
