Kennedy & Rielly Selected To NABC Honors Court

Holy Cross Athletics   07-18-2017

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Holy Cross senior guards Thomas Kennedy and Patrick Rielly, members of the men’s basketball team, have been selected to the 2016-2017 National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior who maintains a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.

Kennedy and Rielly were both walk-on members of the team for two seasons, and were part of the 2015-2016 squad which captured the Patriot League Tournament title and posted the school’s first NCAA Tournament victory since 1953. This marks the second straight season both Kennedy and Rielly have been selected to the NABC Honors Court.

The Holy Cross men’s basketball team is looking to contend for the Patriot League title this season, and will play a total of 14 home games in Worcester! Conference play will be highlighted by visits from defending Patriot League champion Bucknell and Turnpike Trophy rival Boston University, while key non-conference home opponents include Albany, Harvard and Iona.
