Crusaders Set For Coaches vs. Cancer Suits & Sneakers Week, Three-Point Challenge
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s basketball program will be involved with a pair of programs for Coaches vs. Cancer in the upcoming weeks. On Jan. 27, the Crusaders will take part in Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Week. Then in the month of February, Holy Cross will be part of the Coaches vs. Cancer Three-Point Challenge.
Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Week is a nationwide event that unites coaches across the country to raise awareness about the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission, and promote the American Cancer Society as a place for help and support. Members of the Holy Cross coaching staff will wear sneakers with their game attire for their contest against Lafayette on Jan. 27 as a visible reminder about the importance of nutrition and physical activity in reducing cancer risk.
The Coaches vs. Cancer Three-Point Challenge allows basketball fans to support their school by pledging a donation to the American Cancer Society for every three-pointer made by their team in the month of February.
