Thomas-Waheed Named Patriot League Player of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross senior Infiniti Thomas-Waheed has been named the Patriot League The Rock Player of the Week, for competition from Nov. 13-19. This is the first Patriot League weekly honor for Thomas-Waheed in her career.

Thomas-Waheed had a pair of strong performances for the Crusaders this past week, as they split with a loss at Marist (74-85) and a road win over Rider (83-56). At Marist she totaled 25 points, just one point shy of her career-high, and added seven rebounds. In the win at Rider, Thomas-Waheed once again led the Crusaders’ offense with 22 points while adding five rebounds and three steals. In the game at Rider, she notched her 900th career point, and now stands with a total of 911.

Holy Cross returns to action Tuesday, Nov. 21, as the Crusaders take on Hofstra on the road at 7:00 p.m.
