HOLY CROSS HEADS TO BROWN WEDNESDAY
• The Holy Cross women’s basketball team continues its season Wednesday, as the Crusaders head to Providence, R.I. to face Brown in non-conference action.
• Wednesday’s game will be streamed live via the Ivy League Network, and will also be broadcast on Emmanuel Radio (1230 AM | 1230radio.com) with Bob Fouracre on play-by-play.

SCOUTING HOLY CROSS
• Holy Cross most recently earned an overtime victory over Bryant on Sunday afternoon in their home opener, 59-57.
• Sophomore Lauren Manis leads the Patriot League with 21.2 points per game and ranks seventh in rebounds per game with 8.6. She set a new career-high with 28 points in the loss at Hofstra, and recorded her 10th double-double of her career against Bryant.
• Senior Infiniti Thomas-Waheed ranks second in the Patriot League with 19.0 points per game. She currently has 940 total points in her career.
• The Crusaders finished their 2016-2017 campaign with an overall record of 8-22, and a 6-12 mark in the Patriot League.
• Manis was named the 2016-2017 Patriot League Rookie of the Year, while Katie Doherty earned Academic All-Patriot League honors.

SERIES QUICK HITS
• The Crusaders are 5-0 all-time against Brown.
• In the last meeting between the two programs, Holy Cross defeated the Bears 83-66 at the Hart Center.
• The two programs first met during the 1981-1982 season, with the Crusaders defeating Brown in Providence by a score of 71-60.
• This will be the fourth game the Crusaders have played at Brown, and the first since Jan. 16, 2012.

LAST TIME OUT
• Sophomore Lauren Manis led Holy Cross with 19 points, 13 rebounds and six steals; as the Crusaders edged Bryant by a score of 59-57 in overtime at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex.
• Senior Infiniti Thomas-Waheed also turned in a strong performance for the Crusaders, totaling 15 points with four rebounds and three assists. 
• Senior Tricia Byrne registered 12 points for Holy Cross while adding six rebounds and a game-high five assists. 
• The Bulldogs were led by Sydney Holloway, who added 24 points with 13 rebounds.
• Bryant had the edge in rebounds at 46-39. Holy Cross shot 37.3 percent from the field, while the Bulldogs shot 37.5 percent. 
• In total, the lead changed 13 times while it was tied on three occasions.
• The Crusaders held on in the closing minutes, and tied the game up with a layup from Manis in the closing seconds to tie the game at 50-50.
• The Crusaders jumped out to a seven-point advantage in overtime and never surrendered their lead, earning a 59-57 victory.

SCOUTING REPORT ON BROWN
• Bryant enters Wednesday night’s contest with a 4-1 overall record, having earned victories over Bryant (85-62), Central Conn. State (78-55), Hampton (73-66) and Pacific (74-57).
• Brown is coming off a season in which it went 17-13 with a 7-7 mark in the Ivy League. The Bears were eliminated by Pennsylvania in the Ivy League Semifinals, and went 1-1 in the WBI.
• Taylor Will leads Brown in scoring, averaging 18.4 points per game while shooting 51.6 percent.
• Erika Steeves is the team’s leading rebounder, averaging 10.8 boards per game.
• Head coach Sarah Behn is in her fourth season with the Bears.

• Following the game at Brown, the Crusaders will return home to take on Albany at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex at 12:05 p.m.
