College Coaches and Players:
Along with Coach Jackson and Stuart come a wide variety of college coaches. Players from the current Holy Cross Field Hockey team will also be in attendance in order to ensure the players have the best possible experience and are engulfed in the college game.
At Holy Cross field hockey we want to focus on not only developing the technical and tactical side of the game for each and every athlete that comes to camp, but also we will focus on the other areas that will take your game to the next level. We will truly learn why we do certain things and build communication and trust on the field. We will put the learning sessions into game play situations everyday. The Staff is completely committed to engaging each athlete and creating the best learning and fun environment possible. This summer camp isn’t going to be your usual summer camp; we are going to take you to the next level- wherever that may be!
The players will be living in one of the Freshman or Sophomore dorms towards the top of campus. There will be two players to a room. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, so it is suggested that you bring a fan. There is a keypad combination in order to secure your belongings. There are no personal bathrooms in each room, but rather communal bathrooms down the hall.
Each floor will be staffed with camp counselors to ensure a safe and supervised environment. Day campers will have access to an assigned room where they can store belongings during the day and relax during scheduled breaks.
All meals will be held in the newly-renovated Kimball Dining Hall. Overnight campers will receive dinner on Wednesday, breakfast, lunch, & dinner on Thursday and Friday, and breakfast on Saturday.
On camp registration day, please enter campus through Gate 7, which is located towards the top of the hill on College Street. You will take a left into campus, pass the field house, and within 100 yards, the Hogan campus center will be on your left. Parking will be provided to your right.
Camp ends on Saturday, July 18 at noon. An end- of-camp ceremony will begin at 11:30am. Campers can be met in the stands of Hart Turf Field & Track, behind the Hart Center, at the conclusion of camp.
