WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross baseball team begins the Patriot League tournament this weekend, traveling to West Point, N.Y. The third-seeded Crusaders will play No. 2 Army in a best-of-three series with a doubleheader scheduled for Saturday, May 9, beginning at 12:00 p.m. If necessary, a third game is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, starting at 1:00 p.m.
The softball team concluded the season with a victory over Central Connecticut on Tuesday, April 28. The Crusaders defeated the Blue Devils in the night cap to finish the season with an overall record of 13-34.
Qualifying members of the Holy Cross men's and women's track and field team will travel to Amherst, Mass. for the New England Outdoor Championship in Amherst, Mass. on May 8-9.
The men's rowing team returns to action following a week off for its final home event of the year, hosting the Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 10, the competition is set to begin at 7:30 a.m., while the women's rowing team returns to action on May 9-10, competing at the ECAC National Invitational Championship in Camden, N.J.
