WORCESTER, Mass. - The College of the Holy Cross has named Samantha Boudreau an assistant athletic trainer, it was announced by head athletic trainer Anthony Cerundolo and athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr.
Boudreau will work with the Holy Cross women's basketball and men's soccer teams, while assisting with a number of other sports. She spent the last two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Kentucky, where she worked on a daily basis with the tennis and cheerleading squads. Boudreau also coordinated medical coverage for the 2007 Southeastern Conference women's tennis championship, and the 2006 and 2007 NCAA men's tennis regionals held in Lexington, Ky.
Prior to her time at Kentucky, Boudreau was an athletic training student at Charleston Southern University, working with the football, volleyball and softball teams. She also spent time assisting with the South Carolina Stingrays hockey team.
A certified and licensed member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Boudreau received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Charleston Southern in 2006, and her master's degree in kinesiology and health promotion from Kentucky in 2008.
