WORCESTER, Mass. – Spring season action continues this week as men’s and women’s lacrosse, baseball and softball are all in action. Men’s lacrosse hosts Harvard on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 4:00 p.m. then travels to face Jacksonville on Sunday, March 4 for a 3:30 p.m. contest. The women’s lacrosse team will seek its second victory of the season at home on Wednesday, Feb. 29, against Fairfield at 4:00 p.m. The baseball team returns to the diamond at the Campbell Invitational Tournament March 3-5. They will play three games including one game against North Carolina Central on Saturday, March 3 at 11:30 a.m. and two versus host Campbell on Sunday, March 4 (3:00 p.m.) and Monday, March 5 (4:00 p.m.). Softball opens up its 2012 campaign in Kissimmee, Fla. at the Rebel Spring Games. On Sunday, March 4, the Crusaders will face Detroit at 9:00 a.m. then Sacred Heart at 11:00 a.m. The team will then play South Dakota at 3:00 p.m. and Indiana State at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5. The men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams will wrap up the winter season this weekend at the final championship competitions of the year. The women’s team will compete at the ECAC Championship beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and the men’s team will compete in the IC4A Championship beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both two-day meets will take place on Saturday-Sunday, March 3-4.
