Crusader Notes For September 18

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross fall athletic teams continue action this week with 11 different events. The men’s soccer team will kick things off at Boston University tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 7:00 p.m. Women’s soccer returns to action at the Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 19, when New Hampshire comes to town for a 7:00 p.m. contest. That game can also be seen live on Crusader Vision. The field hockey team will travel to Fairfield on Thursday, Sept. 20, for a 4:00 p.m. game. Women’s volleyball is set to begin Patriot League play on Friday, Sept. 21, when it travels to Navy for a 7:00 p.m. match. Women’s golf will get things started on a busy Saturday, Sept. 22, teeing off at the Mount Holyoke Invitational at 8:00 a.m. The men’s tennis team will participate in the Connecticut College Tournament at 10:00 a.m. Women’s volleyball will take on American on the road at 2:00 p.m. and women’s soccer kicks off against Manhattan in Riverdale, N.Y. at 4:00 p.m. Men’s soccer concludes Saturday’s action with its first Patriot League match of the season at home against Army at 7:00 p.m. Three teams will conclude this week’s action on Sunday, Sept. 23. Women’s golf will conclude the Mount Holyoke Invitational, beginning at 8:00 a.m. The women’s tennis team will play in the Bryant Invitational beginning at 10:00 a.m., and the field hockey team will host Dartmouth at the Hart Turf Field beginning at 2:00 p.m.
