Help Project Night Night At Football Game On Nov. 12

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be collecting donations for Project Night Night at the football game versus Lafayette at Fitton Field on Saturday, Nov. 12. The game starts at 12:30 p.m. SAAC is seeking blankets, books and stuffed animals to give to local homeless children. Donations can be brought to the main gate.

This fall semester, SAAC has chosen to work with Project Night Night. Project Night Night is a non-profit organization that works to “help homeless children have sweeter dreams.” The rate of homeless children in America is rising as currently there are 298,000 homeless children in the United States. Project Night Night donates Night Night Packages to homeless children living in homeless shelters. Each Night Night Package contains a new blanket, new book and new stuffed animal. The goal of this amazing organization is to provide homeless children with a sense of home and a sense of security. Right now, the student-athletes at HC are serving four shelters in the Worcester community, and are providing over 140 Night Night packages to homeless children.
