Biography
Hurley was the starting left fielder at Holy Cross for four years on teams that won 72 and lost just 17. The 1928 and 1929 teams were the Eastern Intercollegiate Champions. A great fielder and fine hitter, he later signed with John McGraw and the New York Giants. He also played under Casey Stengel in the minor leagues, but never reached the majors. After his professional career ended he practiced law in Boston.
