"Buzz" Harvey was the captain of the 1934 Holy Cross football team and also played varsity baseball for three years. In his three varsity football years, HC compiled an overall record of 21-6-2, including an 8-2 mark when he was a senior. Three times he was selected to the All-East team and also earned All-America mention as a junior. He was a two-way tackle. He received a baseball tryout with the Philadelphia Phillies and signed with the New York Football Giants upon graduation, but passed up both opportunities to pursue a career in coaching. He passed away in 1987.
