A native of Dorchester, Mass., Zyntell was another two-sport man at Holy Cross. In addition to starring in football, he also was a member of Coach Bart Sullivan's track squad. However, it was his football prowess that drew the most attention. He won three varsity letters and was a member of varsity squads that had a three year mark of 21-6-3. He was chosen All-East and All-New England and keyed two wins over Boston College. Following graduation, he played three seasons in the NFL for the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles. He passed away in 1992.
