The 1996 Crusader of the Year (and the first women's basketball player so honored), Maney led her Holy Cross teams to two Patriot League Regular Season titles, three Patriot League Tournament crowns and two NCAA Tournament appearances while posting an overall record of 81-40. A three-time All-Patriot League selection (1994, 1995, 1996) and three-time All-Patriot League Tournament pick (1994, 1995, 1996), Maney earned honorable mention UPI All-America honors in 1996, was a second-team ECAC All-Star (1996) and was a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District Selection (1994, 1996). 

In 1995 she was the Patriot League Tournament MVP, leading Holy Cross to its first NCAA Tournament bid in four years. A two-time Patriot League Player of the Year, Maney led the team in scoring during her junior and senior seasons and graduated third all-time in scoring with 1,721 points.  She was one of six Crusaders named to the Patriot League women's basketball All-Decade Team.
